On the navigation page Type of plant, climate and grid the first, external parameters of the photovoltaic system are defined. The figure illustrates the different areas for defining the planned PV system.
All selectable system types are presented in more detail in Table 1. Depending on the selected system type, different navigation pages are activated or deactivated. The following navigation pages are active for all installation types:
Table 1: Description of the selectable system types
System type | Description | System diagram |
---|---|---|
Grid-connected PV system | Enables the planning of a grid-connected PV system with full feed-in. | |
Grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers | Enables the planning of a grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers. To do this, the navigation page Consumption is activated. | |
Grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers and battery system | Enables the planning of a grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers and battery systems. To do this, the navigation pages Consumption and Battery system (grid-connected) are activated. | |
Grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers and electric vehicles | Enables the planning of a grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers and electric vehicles. To do this, the navigation pages Consumption and Electric vehicles are activated. | |
Grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers, electric vehicles and battery system | Enables the planning of a grid-connected PV system with electrical consumers, electric vehicles and battery systems. To do this, the navigation pages Consumption, Electric vehicles and Battery system (grid-connected) are activated. | |
Off-grid PV system | Enables the planning of an off-grid PV system with electrical consumers and battery inverters with batteries. To do this, the navigation pages Consumption and Battery inverter and battery (off-grid) are activated. | |
Off-grid PV system with auxiliary generator | Enables the planning of an off-grid PV system with electrical consumers and battery inverters with batteries and including an additional generator for load coverage. To do this, the navigation pages Consumption, Auxiliary generator and Battery inverter and battery (off-grid) are also activated. |
In the planning type (area 2) it is decided whether 3D planning is to be used for designing the photovoltaic system. System planning using 3D planning offers a wide variety of options for planning the photovoltaic system. Prefabricated 3D objects (such as different types of buildings or roofs) can be used or own 3D models can be imported. 3D planning makes it possible to place photovoltaic modules on the 3D objects and interconnect them. For mor detailed information see the navigation page 3D design.
The location of the PV system is determined in the area of climate data. The desired country can be selected via the quick selection there. Under Location you can select all available locations of the country. In addition, additional location information is displayed, such as the annual sum of the global radiation or the coordinates. By clicking on the selected location can be set as the default for new projects. A click on opens the detailed administration of the climate data by means of MeteoSyn. In MeteoSyn it is possible to select already existing climate locations via different filters and to create new climate locations. For more information, see MeteoSyn.
All relevant information about the network is displayed under AC network. A click on the button opens the project options AC grid to make changes to
The changes made there apply to the current project.
