Configuration limits

The configuration limits are boundary conditions of the inverter connection. The dialog can be opened via the inverter navigation page or via Options > Project Options > Configuration Limits.

Here you can specify the design tolerances:

  • Dimensioning factor (Ratio of PV generator power to AC inverter power)
  • Exceeding and falling below the MPP voltage
  • Exceeding the input current

Information is also given here on inclined load and maximum system voltage. In addition, the temperatures and the irradiations for Voltage test can be defined.

For plant locations in the USA, temperatures are automatically determined using the National Electrical Code ®.
