A17 System with Buffer Storage and Freshwater Station; with Heating Return Temperature Lift

A17.1 System with Buffer Storage, External Heat Exchanger, and Freshwater Station; with Heating Return Temperature Lift

A18 System with Heating Buffer Storage and Freshwater Station

This system heats utility water via a fresh water station which operates in a continuous flow process.

In A17, the auxiliary heating heats the tank and, via the return boost, the heating loop; in A18, it only heats the tank, as there is no return increase.

Heating can additionally be incorporated into the system. The system A 17.1 has an external heat exchanger on the solar part, instead of a direct coil. The solar heating is supported by a return boost control as in A17.

System

# Hydronic Connections / Components A17 A17.1 A18
1 1 or 2 collector loops x x x
2 Bivalent buffer tank x x x
3 Internal heat exchanger in the buffer tank x   x
4 External, solar heat exchanger   x
5 Auxiliary Heating x x x
6 Return boost x x
7 Heating Loop x x x
8 Fresh water station x x x

The Fresh water station provides Trinkwarmwasser (TWW) with the needed Solltemperatur and Menge through the regulated discharge of the buffer tank, quickly available.
