Input dialog system A6, buffer tank, Lower collector loading page
The systems A6, A12, A13, C1, C2, C3, C4 include bivalent buffer tanks.
The buffer tanks with direct loading and unloading can take varying forms depending on the system schematic selected.
On the separate pages, the inlets and outlets of the different piping pairs for loading and unloading the tank as well as the respective specific losses of the piping inlets and the installation height of the temperature sensors are displayed but cannot be modified.
Tank or Collector Loading
Please provide the following values for the (Buffer tank with auxiliary heating) system:
- Sensor installation heights for activating and deactivating the collector loop
- Collector loop activation/deactivation temperature
- Connection of the heat exchanger to the collector loop: proportion of the return flow, proportion of the supply flow, return losses, supply losses, kA
- Collector loop connection heights and losses for the upper tank inlet and lower tank outlet
Upper Collector Loading
Specify the maximum storage temperature for buffer tanks without additional heating.
Auxiliary Heating (bivalent)
- Collector loop connection heights and losses of the upper tank inlet and lower tank outlet
- Sensor installation heights for switching the auxiliary heating on and off, in case there is an extra switch temperature for the lower sensor, if 2 different heat users (DHW, space heating, process heat) are supplied by the same storage tank (A18).
- Controlling the desired temperature of the auxiliary heating: Set or adopt the desired value (A18)
- On/off control of the auxiliary heating
Entry dialog system A6, buffer tank, Auxiliary heating biv. page
Entry dialog A18, buffer tank, Auxiliary heating page
Input dialog for buffer tank with external heat exchanger, Auxiliary Heating Control page
Page Auxiliary Heating Control
- Define the desired tank temperature for the auxiliary heating.
- Enter the switch-on / switch-off temperatures of the boiler in relation to the desired tank temperature.
- If you activate the Fixed field, you can predetermine the target temperature in the buffer tank.
- On activating the Accept field, the buffer tank target temperature, depending on operating state and requirements, is either the temperature required to load the water heater or for supplying the heating loop.
- In the field limited operating times, the auxiliary heating of the tank can be cut off for specific times of the day.
Flow
The Flow page outlines the connections for emptying the tank. Please furnish the following values for these connections, including their heights and associated losses: inlet, middle, and outlet.
