Variant Menu: Databases > Primary Energy
T*SOL® includes all common fuels in a database with the following properties:
- Fuel Type: All fuels are categorized into groups for better organization.
- Unit: This is the usual unit in which fuel amounts are specified.
- Heating Value (Hu): This expresses the energy content. The lower heating value is specified, assuming the combustion water is in vapor form.
- CO2 Emissions: This value indicates the specific CO2 emissions during fuel combustion. Fuels can be directly compared since emissions are related to energy content, not mass.
- Price: Prices are subject to significant fluctuations and are not suitable for precise calculations.
You can add your own fuels using the New button, and you can also delete or edit custom fuels.
The Primary Energy Database is accessible to all users on a PC and is stored in the directory: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Valentin EnergieSoftware\
