In the Licenses section you will find all your company’s licenses, listed with license key, product and expiration date.
You can use the search function to search your licenses by license key or License User, for example. Simply enter your search term in the search field.
If you click on in the line of a license, you can manage the License Users of this license.
All License Users assigned to the license are listed here. You can assign several License Users to a license, but there can only be one active License User per license.
You can add a new License User to the license by clicking on .
You can use the sliders in the Status column to assign the license to another License User.
If you click on in the line of a License User, you can change the name that is displayed in the list.
By clicking on you can remove License Users that are no longer needed from the license.
License Users can be set to active or inactive using the sliders in the Status column.
There can only be one active License User per license.
If you want to assign a license to another user, you must first set the active user to inactive . You can then set another user active .
A License User can only be assigned to one license (per product).
If you click on in the line of a License User and then confirm with Delete, the user is removed from the list.
Removing a License User from a license does not delete their sign-in details; these remain untouched.
Any existing licenses (of other products) assigned to this user also remain unaffected.
You can add a new License User to the license by clicking on .
User ID: This is the email address of the License User.
If the user has already registered and created their sign-in details, the email address from the sign-in details must be used here as the User ID.
Name: The name is only used within the license portal being displayed in the list of License Users. It is independent of the username that the License User entered on registration.
Enter the required data and click on Save. The new License User appears in the list.
If there was previously no active License User for the license, the new License User automatically has the status active after being added. If there was already an active License User for the license, the status is inactive and can be set to active as described above.
If the added License User has already registered and created their sign-in details, they can use the license immediately. If the License User has not yet registered, you can invite the License User to do so by email.
Newly added License Users are not automatically invited, the invitation is always sent manually.
To send an invitation to the email address of the new License User, click in the new line.
The draft of an email opens. Before clicking on Send, you can change or add to it if necessary or complete it with attachments.
Select email language: At the top of the email window, you can select the language of the email draft.
Send email as a copy to License Manager: By checking the upper checkbox, you can receive a copy of the invitation yourself. If this is not wished, please uncheck the checkbox.
Set how the invitee can reply to the invitation: By checking the lower checkbox, the email address of your user account will be used as the addressee when the License User replies to the invitation. If you uncheck the checkbox, the License User will not be able to reply to the email because the invitation is sent from a Valentin Software “No Reply” address.
