The user license is not bound to one device. You can install T*SOL on multiple devices and use it with the same sign-in details.

No simultaneous usage

A user license can be used device-independent, but simultaneous use of the program on multiple devices is not permitted. If your license is already in use on another device, a dialog informing you about this will appear when you start or activate the software.

Switching from one device to another

In online mode
If you are running T*SOL on a device in online mode, it is sufficient to close the program on this device. You can then use the license on another device. You do not need to sign out. Further information on online mode can be found in section Operating mode -> Online mode.

In offline mode
However, if you are running T*SOL on a device in offline mode, the program cannot be used on any other device for the duration of the offline mode. The license is bound to this device for the duration of the offline mode. You can end the offline mode on the device (prematurely), i.e. switch back to online mode. You can then use the license on another device. Further information on offline mode can be found in section Operating mode -> Offline mode.

If you want to use the license on another device, you do not need to sign out. All you need to do is to close the program while in online mode. You can then use the license on another device.

The user license is also in use on another device if the program on the other device is closed but in offline mode.
