Variant Menu: Preferences > Climate

: Climate Preferences Dialog

How to Proceed:

  1. Go to the Preferences > Climate dialog and enter the planned location of your solar system.

  2. Click the MeteoSyn button. The MeteoSyn climate data management is opened.

  3. The Standard Outside Temperature is the design temperature for the heating power requirement and must be determined for each location from specific standards. If the climate data file does not contain a standard outside temperature, the lowest outside temperature is determined and used as the design temperature. Choose the option Enter a value for the field Standard Outside Temperature, then you can enter the standard outside temperature.

  4. If you are using a .wbv climate data set, you can save the entered standard outside temperature in the climate file by clicking the Save in Climate File button.
