Configuration limits

The configuration limits are boundary conditions of the inverter connection. The dialog can be opened via the inverter navigation page or via Options > Project Options > Configuration Limits.

Here you can specify the design tolerances:

  • Dimensioning factor (Ratio of PV generator power to AC inverter power)
  • Exceeding and falling below the MPP voltage
  • Exceeding the input current

Information is also given here on inclined load and maximum system voltage. In addition, the temperatures and the irradiations for _Voltage test__ can be defined.

For plant locations in the USA, temperatures are automatically determined using the National Electrical Code ®.
