Creating a new entry

Create a data set by defining the various properties of the battery on the subpages.

Basic data

Battery: Basic data

  1. Choose company
With the button all companies can be displayed and new ones created.

  2. Enter name for model

  3. (optional) Insert comment

  4. Determining whether the component is available.
Components that are not available are hidden in the database view by default, but can be displayed again.

  5. (optional) Enter the available certificates

Electrical data

Battery: Electrical data

Here you define the electrical data for the:

  • Cell voltage
  • Numbers of cells in series
  • Internal resistance
  • Self-discharge
  • Discharge cycles
Button can be used to automatically calculate the discharge cycles at the respective discharge depth based on the first discharge cycle entered. Missing discharge cycles are marked with -1.

Capacity characteristic curve

Battery: Capacity characteristic curve

Here you define the capacity characteristic of the battery. To do this, they enter the capacity for the specified discharge duration.

Mechanical variables

Battery: Mechanical dimensions

Here you define the mechanical sizes and specify the dimensions and weight.
