Licensing in program - user license
In November 2024, we introduced the user license as part of our new licensing model. Find out more in our FAQ.
To activate the software with a user license, you must use at least program version 2025 R1 or newer. You can download the latest versions of our software products here.
Our new license model provides for two different roles: License Manager and License User.
License Managers are responsible for independently managing your company’s user licenses in the Valentin License Portal and assigning them to License Users.
License Users use the licenses assigned to them to activate and work with their software.
If you have successfully activated PV*SOL® with your user license, the License Information dialog will open via the menu and show information about the user license. There you can
- make settings for the currently signed-in License User
- change the operating mode
