The user license is not bound to one device. You can install PV*SOL® on multiple devices and use it with the same sign-in details.
A user license can be used device-independent, but simultaneous use of the program on multiple devices is not permitted. If your license is already in use on another device, a dialog informing you about this will appear when you start or activate the software.
In online mode
If you are running PV*SOL® on a device in online mode, it is sufficient to close the program on this device.
You can then use the license on another device.
You do not need to sign out.

In offline mode
However, if you are running PV*SOL® on a device in offline mode, the program cannot be used on any other device for the duration of the offline mode.
The license is bound to this device for the duration of the offline mode.
You can end the offline mode on the device (prematurely), i.e. switch back to online mode.
You can then use the license on another device.

If you want to use the license on another device, you do not need to sign out. All you need to do is to close the program while in online mode. You can then use the license on another device.
The user license is also in use on another device if the program on the other device is closed but in offline mode.
